Greetings Wheatley Families and Community,
I hope you are all beginning a relaxing, recharging, and inspiring summer!
It is with great pleasure that I send you this letter as the newly appointed Principal of Wheatley Education Campus! I am so excited to continue our partnership together and carry on the great work we began in the spring.
As we closed out SY 22-23 I developed a strong connection with the Wheatley community. I am committed to ensuring that this upcoming school year is the best one yet. Our school’s goals this year will be grounded in two primary principles.
- Meeting the instructional needs of every scholar
- Create a vibrant and joyful learning environment so that every scholar loves coming to school
Over the summer the staff and I will work diligently to ensure that we have the systems and structures to accomplish these goals. To complete this work, it is crucial that your voice is included.
To that end, I will hold three family and community “Popsicles with the Principal” sessions. At these sessions, I will be available to connect with you and your scholars and begin conversations that will further guide crafting our school goals. These sessions will be held on the dates listed below.
